Shipping Details

Phosphate concentrate will be loaded at the Port of
Saldanha, located 60 nautical miles north of Cape
Town (Latitude 33° 02’ S, Longitude 17° 58’ E).
Loading rates of 10,000 – 12,000 tonnes per day are
achieved. All cargo is loaded by ships gear – no fixed
shore cranes are available.
A dedicated berth has been secured for phosphate
export. A 15m draft can be accommodated.
