Since its inception, KEYTRADE has acted from time to time as the exclusive marketing and sales agent for major worldwide suppliers of muriate of potash (MOP) in various regions.
KEYTRADE cooperated with Canpotex to sell 700,000 metric tons of standard muriate of potash (SMOP) in the People’s Republic of China from 1999 to 2002.
From June 2003 until June 2005, following an exclusive marketing agreement with JSC Uralkali, KEYTRADE covered most of the Southeast Asian market with 1 million metric tons of SMOP sales in Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
Today, KEYTRADE exclusively represents Belorussian Potash Company (BPC) for sales of SMOP in Turkey and also provides financing solutions to sell granular muriate of potash (GMOP) and white fine potash to selected customers in Brazil.
Together with spot sales into Africa from destinations sourced from major producers, KEYTRADE’S potash volume is in excess of 500,000 metric tons per year.
