Commercial Director Trading - Location: Tampa FL

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities with new products, customers and markets for fertilizer markets

  • Identify market push opportunities from suppliers that fit target market.

  • Intensify sales efforts in ongoing markets through supply programs and existing trading activities.

  • Liaison and coordinate sales with customers, negotiating, securing best terms, ensuring smooth
    delivery and timely settlement of payments;

  • Make recommendations to management team for planning, warehousing and stocking of products based on supply, demand and local pricing.

  • Monitor day-to-day developments in the global market and react timely and creative manner to
    take advantage of new opportunities;

  • Support and coordinate logistics with our internal shipping department.

  • Analyze risks, understand financials, and recommend extensions of finance terms to customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twenty-four (24) months in job or job related experience to include develop new business opportunities with new products, customers and markets for fertilizer market; identify market push opportunities from suppliers that fit target market; intensify sales efforts in ongoing markets through supply programs and existing trading activities; liaison and coordinate sales with customers, negotiating, securing best terms, ensuring smooth delivery and timely settlement of payments; and monitor day-to-day developments in the global market and react timely and creative manner to take advantage of new opportunities. Experience may have been gained before, during or after degree.
